MenuBear

A restaurant platform template: QR menus, ordering and bookings

Restaurant SaaS template

What MenuBear does

MenuBear is a template for a restaurant platform: a QR menu, ordering from the table and a dashboard to run service from, all on one multi-tenant backend. An owner uploads a PDF or photos of the existing menu; Claude reads it into a draft the owner reviews before anything is saved, and one more call translates every dish into six guest languages. Guests scan the table's code, join that table's session and order on their own phones, see what everyone at the table ordered and ask for the bill; the kitchen and the waiters watch each order and each dish move through its states on a live board. Around it: table bookings with slots worked out from real table capacity in the restaurant's own time zone, a vertical video feed of dishes, discounts and happy hours, loyalty, staff accounts with four roles, menu and order analytics, and Stripe subscriptions with a free plan and a trial. Every table sits behind Postgres row-level security, so one restaurant can never read another's data, and database tests cover that isolation.
