Fullstack Poem

Fullstack is like a jetpack
You launch it half-baked from the start
And once you’re deploying, there’s no way to stop
It’s like Vite’s hot reload, snappy and clean
But in this production database, there’s no user
You have only your screen
Then you’re deep in the backend and it starts to rain
Async functions flooding your brain
But wait, here comes the pain, the architecture’s insane
You route through the logic like a well-oiled train
The gimmick? You nest apps inside apps
APIs within APIs, with GraphQL maps
One layer is Node, brittle and dry
The other is Svelte, this one has a slick UI
You can docker compose, spin up and dive
Or carry your stack with a microservice hive
Jump through auth like JWTs
Then backflip to prod with CI/CD
Deploy it like you’re dropping the final build
One wrong test, and your whole app might yield
Throw your bug in a ticket, race it down the hall
Chase it like it’s the PM’s last call
Then you fight the Boss: Merge Conflict Doom
Wielding a Primeagen broom with blazingly fast Nvim zoom
But you dodge with git-fu, stage your win
Squash those commits with a devilish grin
Each project’s a world, with strange new quirks
Like CSS Grid or edge-case perks
From Tailwind themes to weird browser hacks
Your brain cells stretch like rubber tracks
The visuals? fine — inspect that DOM
But the sound is you, typing calm
Like when the test suite goes all green
And the console stays clean, you know the feeling, serene
It’s nothing like those enterprise drains
This ain’t just Jira tickets and meetings and chains
This is puzzle meets power, creation and code
A world where your logic scripts the road
A service in a service in a service, you dig?
Four layers deep and you debug a gig
What does it mean? what’s the scene?
The docs are vague, the typing system is lean
But you go on, a framework soldier
Carrying the title “Fullstack” on your shoulder
The bugs might stump you, but they can be slain
And when they’re gone, you whisper: “domain-driven gain.”
Not as long as Baldur’s Gate, wow
But do you have 100 hours right now?
So in conclusion, build something fullstack today
Unless you’re a “dev” who prefers plug and play
